Luke 15 – prodical son
Vs 11 he joined himself to another country
Vs 15 he ran short, started to lack
Vs 17 when he came to himself, he returned back to his own country

It is amaising that when you chase after other countries (their wealth and stuff) you will eventually run short. Comparision “seek first the kinfdom of God” What kingdom are you chasing after?

Father I have sinned – showed his heart. When we come with this reason “BUT” and try to justify or give an excuse we are keeping the back door open to do it again.

I need to move, not the father or country. This is not a physical move needed, but according to Romans 12, I should change/renew my mind. Our prayer life must be inline with the Word of God – when you know who you are, you will pray differently

Ezek 18: 30 Repentance is changing your mind + the evidence of repentance seen via our outward livestyle.

Matt 4: 17 Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand

Matt 22: 26 if you love Me, you will keep my commandments, love Him through body, soul and mind – you cannot love God with an old mind set - renewing is the only possibility to love God

You cannot love God if your mind is not right

Prov 23: 7 as you think, so you will be.

You cannot have a good heart but a bad mind. You are what you think, thus bad mind will result in a bad heart.


Example
Car broken – need a macanic with a good heart – I think not, he need to have the knowledge
Open heart surgery – need a specialist with a good heart – I think not, he needs to have a sharp mind, can think clearly and control his hands

Col 3: 1-2 seek things from above, not things of the earth (what country are you dwelling in – like the prodical son?) Get rid of old way of thinking, this will break old habits

Isa 49: 1 womb – matrix. We always place emphases on what happened to me/I am a victim. Note: divorse comes from me and not to me, you are the one like matrix making the discisions – it comes from you. Re-program the matrixs and make sure it is the matrix of God in you.

Matt 12: 33 tree know by fruit – you either make the tree good or bad and this will change the fruit – Think correctly, heart follows and then it will change old habits = new fruit

You cannot controll the future, but you can controll your heart, out of it comes the future


2Cor 10:3 Stronghold needs to come into your mind first, he can get ahold of you in any other way. This is the reason why the battle is in the mind

Battle in the garden was over the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God did not want man to have another sourse of knowledge – it will create the “battle in the mind”
